I created this blog in an attempt to motivate myself to cook more for my family. Instead of relying on the frozen food aisle at the supermarket (specifically chicken nuggets, potstickers, and orange chicken), I wanted to make more real homemade dinners for my family of five.
Between the homework, volleyball, swim, soccer and basketball practices, I know how challenging it can be to throw together midweek dinners. My focus on this blog will be easy, healthy, delicious meals you can have on the table in 30 minutes or less.
I wanted to bake more as well- Dessert is important too. 🙂 This blog has inspired me to try many new dessert recipes. As you can see by the meals/sweet treats ratio of my posts, I may have a bit of a sweet tooth.
After my family of five (myself, my husband and our three kiddos) have tested a dinner or dessert recipe and have decided that it is AWESOME, we post it to this blog.
My goal is to use this blog as a quick reference for anyone searching for easy and delicious dinner recipes and decadent sweet treats.
