This salmon with parmesan crust is such an easy delicious dinner that you can have on the table in less than 20 minutes.
The crust is a mixture of minced garlic, chopped parsley, and shredded parmesan. You will cook the salmon until the crust is browned slightly. The salmon will be flaky inside with a slightly crunchy crust - perfect combination of textures.
We eat salmon at least twice per week. So glad I now have this parmesan crusted salmon in the rotation.
Ingredients you will need:

What to serve with this herb crusted salmon dish?
We have a few side dish ideas here that would work well with this salmon including:
- Easy Sautéed Spinach
- Sauteed Zucchini and Onions
- Mushroom Cauliflower Rice with Spinach
- Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Tips for this salmon with parmesan crust:
- Make sure to follow the step where you cover the salmon filet with parchment paper. This helps keep the salmon moist while baking and cooks the salmon to a flaky texture which is a perfect complement to the parmesan herb crust on top.
- I made this recipe with a 1.5 pound filet. The herb crust topping mixture was perfect for this size. You might want to increase the crust ingredients a little if your filet is closer to 2 lbs.
- At the end of the cooking time, remember to check to see with your fork if the salmon is flaky on the inside.
