These turkey meatballs with Italian spices are so flavorful and so quick to whip up for your family dinner.

Just takes one mixing bowl and a large, strong spatula for bringing all of the ingredients together.

The recipe makes 48 one inch meatballs and can be served in different ways. Here's a few ideas:

  • Over romaine lettuce (with dressing over it if you'd like)
  • Next to a side of rice
  • Tossed in with spaghetti and a marinara sauce
  • Dipped in ranch dressing or any other sauce
  • With a side of hummus

We included panko breadcrumbs, but you can make these turkey meatballs without breadcrumbs and they'd still be delish.

You can make the meatballs and place in the crockpot to keep warm until all members of the family arrive home or let everyone grab their dinner when it fits their schedule that day. The meatballs are a very convenient and easy dinner to grab on the go.

I highly recommend taking the time to mince up the fresh Italian parsley. The freshness of the parsley mixed with the dried oregano and basil is a perfect flavor combination.

We had leftovers, so I placed them in the freezer and will serve them next week for dinner. These are easy to freeze and enjoy later. So many good points for this recipe.

How to Cook Turkey Meatballs in the Oven

I used 2 pounds of ground turkey meat in this recipe and rolled out 48 one inch meatballs. I placed a baking rack on top of an aluminum foil lined baking sheet and baked for 18 minutes. Cooking on the rack helps keep the meatballs moist without getting mushy.

I love finding healthy recipes that are actually flavorful and when they only take one bowl to mix up, and are easy to freeze for later, wow, so happy.

Hope you enjoy the meatballs too!
