And, the rise time is not 10 hours. Only 90 minutes for the first rise, then another 1 hour after you have punched down the dough and shaped your rolls.

Can you freeze homemade dinner rolls?
Yes, you can - yay!! After you form your rolls, place in a freezable container. When you're ready to cook them, simply remove from freezer, thaw, and let the rolls rise to double in size. This will take about 1-2 hours.
How to make homemade dinner rolls?
- In stand mixer, add warm milk, sugar and yeast. Mix for 10 seconds. Let sit for 5 minutes until it starts to foam.
- Add in salt, butter, flour, and 5 ½ cups flour. Mix until incorporated. Mix in additional ½ cup flour.
- With dough hook on mixer, mix for 5 minutes until dough just pulls away from the bowl.
- Move the dough to a lightly greased mixing bowl, cover it, and allow dough to rise for 90 minutes or until its doubled in size.
- Cover the bottom of two 9x13 baking dishes and line with 3 rows of 5 rolls each. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise for an hour.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and cook for 12-14 minutes until lightly browned on top. Brush the melted butter on top and let sit for 15 minutes. Enjoy these heavenly rolls.

Homemade Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
- 2 cups warm milk
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp active dry yeast
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 6 tbsp salted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp butter, melted for painting on top of rolls

In a stand mixer with dough attachment, add warm milk, sugar and yeast. Mix for 10 seconds to combine. Let sit for 5 minutes, or until it starts to foam.

Add in salt, butter, eggs and 5 ½ cups flour. Mix on low speed, until well combined. Add in ½ cup flour. At medium speed, knead the dough with the dough hook for about 5 minutes, until the dough just barely pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Dough should be slightly sticky.

Move the dough to a lightly greased mixing bowl and cover with a towel. Allow the dough to rise for 90 minutes, or until it has doubled in size. Cover the bottom of two 9x13 pans with parchment paper and create 5 rows of 3 rolls in each pan. Cover with a kitchen towel, and let rise for an hour.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and cook for 12-14 minutes, until lightly browned on top. Brush the melted butter on top of rolls. Let the rolls cool in pan for at least 15 minutes, before removing. Serve and enjoy! Store in an airtight bag to preserve freshness.
