This Monster Cookies recipe comes together so easily and delivers a soft fluffy cookie your family will be asking you to make again and again.

I love that these cookies include peanut butter, and rolled oats along with, of course, m&ms. The collection of different textures works so well together.

Tips for these Monster Cookies:

  1. I used Crisco shortening instead of butter. This makes the cookies fluffier and lighter.

Ingredients Needed for this Monster Cookies Recipe:

  1. Crisco Shortening or Unsalted Butter
  2. Smooth Peanut Butter
  3. Sugar
  4. Brown Sugar
  5. 2 Large Eggs
  6. Vanilla
  7. Flour
  8. Baking Soda
  9. Salt
  10. 1 cup rolled oats
  11. 1 ¼ Cup M&Ms

This is a really easy recipe to make with ingredients that you most likely already have in your cupboard.

How to Make Monster Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Scrape the sides and stir again briefly.
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and oats until just incorporated. Do not overmix. Stir M&Ms in by hand.
  4. Scoop cookie dough with a 2 tablespoon cookie dough scooper and add to parchment paper lined baking sheets.
  5. Bake at 350 for 8-9 minutes until edges are golden brown. Cool on the baking sheet for 3 minutes, then move to wire rack to continue cooling.

You should make it as soon as possible. I promise your family will be SO happy.
