Tips for these no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies:
- Be sure to watch the mixture as you bring it to a boil and stir occasionally. You do not want to burn the chocolate and butter to the pot, and have to start over. You will want these cookies to be done as quickly as possible, so you can start enjoying them. So good.
- I added walnuts to the recipe, but they are just as yummy without nuts. My family likes the added texture and nuttiness.
- You can really make these cookies as large or small as you'd like. I think 2 tablespoons is a good size to shoot for, and is a size that works well for us.
