This easy and super creamy peanut butter fudge recipe with powdered sugar is simply the best. With only 6 ingredients, this recipe is a snap.

Peanut butter fudge on a plate

Oh my goodness, how I love this creamy peanut butter fudge.

I just had a hankering for peanut butter fudge yesterday. It had to be peanut butter, not chocolate or vanilla or maple, only peanut butter.

Now, I don't know about you, but I like creamy fudge.

The creamier the better. So glad I found this recipe as it delivers flavorful, super creamy fudge.

I think the addition of powdered sugar helps create a soft, creamy texture.

Peanut butter fudge pieces on a plate

There are only six ingredients in this recipe and all of them are typical kitchen staple items:

  1. Unsalted butter
  2. Dark Brown Sugar
  3. Whole Milk
  4. Creamy Peanut Butter
  5. Vanilla Extract
  6. Powdered Sugar

How to Make Whole Milk when you only have 2% milk?

I did not have whole milk on hand this time, only 2% milk, so I discovered the trick to making your own whole milk in this situation. For one cup of whole milk, mix ⅝ cup 2% milk with ⅜ cup half and half, and, you have whole milk. Since this recipe calls for only ½ cup milk, I filled half with 2% and half with half and half and it worked fabulously well.

Wow, I definitely have never written a sentence with "half" in it four times before.

My family loved the recipe too. Since this is the case, this fudge has earned a spot on our blog, as we think this is the best peanut butter fudge around. I'm also thinking of more flavors to add to the fudge in the future:

  • Add chocolate chips to the top
  • Drizzle melted white chocolate on top
  • Place red and green mini m&ms on top for Christmas time
  • Add mini chocolate chips to the fudge

Why is my Peanut Butter Fudge soft?

This fudge needs to be stored in the refrigerator or it will become too soft. You can actually also store in the freezer for a frozen peanut butter treat. Just let the fudge sit at room temperature for 5 minutes, and it will be easier to eat.

As you know if you've been following along, recipes that are no-bake and only involve the refrigerator make me so happy. One more plus for this delicious fudge recipe.

Hope you enjoy these as much as we did!

When do you add the milk? I don't see it in the directions. Thank you

Thank you so much for noticing this! The milk goes into the pan at the same time as the brown sugar. I have updated the recipe card. Thank you again!

I made this last week and my family enjoyed. My husband said it reminded him of the fudge that his mom used to make. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
