Easy Baked Salmon in Foil dinner with honey, butter, lime, and cilantro. The perfect flavor combo and dinner is ready in 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place salmon filet on large piece of aluminum foil (enough to wrap around salmon and form a closed tent). Season with salt and pepper. Place 4-5 lime slices under the filet.
Mix butter, juice from 2 limes, honey and garlic.
Pour butter sauce evenly over filet.
Close up aluminum foil tent around salmon.
Place on baking sheet.
Cook for 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of filet and your oven. 18 minutes was perfect for us with our 1.5 lb salmon filet. When you poke the filet with a fork and the meat is flaky, you're ready to broil.
Open the top of the aluminum foil tent and broil for 5 minutes to create a nice crispy top.
Sprinkle top of filet with chopped cilantro. Serve and enjoy.
