pan fried cod

This recipe was actually a really nice surprise.  I have had a bag of frozen cod pieces in my freezer for at least six months.  I kept looking at it wondering how in the world to cook cod, and then moving on to cook the chicken nuggets that are also always in the freezer on heavy rotation.

FINALLY, I took the time to focus on a pan fried cod recipe, that I was almost certain would make everyone in the fam happy, and, guess what, IT DID. 🙂

Its really simple and really delicious.

I think the key is letting the cod cook on the first side for 5 full minutes, without turning.  After turning to the other side, you really only need to cook for 3 minutes top...then you have perfection.

To show how much we enjoyed this recipe, I made this three times in the following two weeks, at the request of EVERYONE in the family.

Serve it with a dark green salad and fresh fruit and you're set.

As Always, Enjoy!!  🙂
