Tips for these Chocolate chip cheesecake bars with Nestle tollhouse chips:
- Whenever I make any dessert involving chocolate chips, I turn to Nestle tollhouse chocolate chips. The results with tollhouse always turn out the best, in comparison with other chips.
- When placing the chunks of cookie dough on top of the cheesecake filling, do not worry if it looks messy. Just spoon out chunks of dough and place all over the top. You’ll see the cheesecake peeking through the chunks of dough. When it cooks up, this combo is heavenly, as you may have already guessed.
- Yes, you will have to cook the bars for the full 40 minutes. Cheesecake takes a bit longer to cook up than your typical cookie or brownie. The 40 minute mark was perfect for us.
- If you double the recipe, you can make these chocolate chip cheesecake bars in a 9×13 baking pan.
These chocolate chip cheesecake bars will, undoubtedly, be on heavy rotation for my family.
Hope you relish them as much as we did!
