recipe collage

Its that time again.....a chance to review all of the month's creations in one spiffy collage.  Since I am on a journey to becoming a better baker/cook, I thought it would be neat to list the new tricks I've learned each month with each new recipe.

  1. Milk Chocolate Cupcakes - I learned how to use a frosting bag.  This recipe came from The Cupcake Diaries, by the owners of Georgetown cupcakes.  I love using a frosting bag to decorate - the results are beautiful and delicious.
  2. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies - Chocolate chips and peanut butter chips in a peanut butter cookie base are spectacular.  Rolling the dough in sugar before cooking kicks it up a few notches.
  3. Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Cookies - This recipe includes ground oats.  I've never ground oats before this recipe.  I love the subtle oat flavor in these cookies.
  4. Pumpkin Bread with Cinnamon Crust - The top of this bread rises to yield a crunchy top with cinnamon.  So yummy.

Hope you enjoy these recipes as much as I do.
