I did not know what my recipe box was missing until I tried these pepperoni calzones.
Wow, these are almost too easy to be this delicious.
The pepperoni, freshly shredded mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, and pizza dough come together for the perfect quick dinner or snack for the family.
I made these for dinner last week and everyone loved them. A few days later, I decided to make them for an after school snack for the kiddos, and they were so excited to see the calzones again.

There are only four ingredients involved in this recipe: pizza dough (I used Pillsbury pizza dough), tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni slices. I also sprinkled an Italian spice mixture on top of the calzone after brushing the top with melted butter.
I just love a short list of ingredients. Its like taking a vacation from the normal dinnertime preparation.
You really should try it today. Your family will thank you.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
