I wanted an easy turkey burger recipe where I could utilize my oven rather than hover over a skillet. So happy I found this one. Its exactly what I needed.
This turkey burger recipe combines some of my favorite flavors: Worcestershire sauce, cilantro and garlic. I used crushed garlic from a jar- I think this helped add to the juiciness of the burger as well.
It only took me about 25 minutes total to have this on the table ready for the family to dive in.
Simply follow these three steps:
- Mix up the ingredients in a big bowl with your hands and a wooden spoon.
- Shape the turkey burger patties.
- Pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil in an
oven ready hot skillet, turned up to high. Cook patties for 5 minutes (searing on one side until caramelized brown), then flip patties over and place in oven ready skillet in350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
At the end of 15 minutes, take burgers out of oven and serve. We toasted yummy brioche buns from Whole Foods, added a slice of melting cheese to the burger, and layered with lettuce and ketchup. Perfection.
Everyone in my family loved these burgers. I'm so happy I can share them with you.
Hope you enjoy them as much as we did.
